JOE LYNN TURNER To Perform With DEEP PURPLE Tribute Band PURPENDICULAR

Legendary hard rock singer Joe Lynn Turner (DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) will perform with PURPENDICULAR, the European DEEP PURPLE tribute band formed by vocalist Robby Thomas Walsh after his split with DEMON'S EYE (German DEEP PURPLE tribute),on December 17 at the Jagger Club in St. Petersburg, Russia. Robby Thomas Walsh will share vocals together with Joe, with a few surprises in store.

Joe Lynn Turner appeared on DEEP PURPLE's classic "Slaves and Masters" album and toured worldwide with DEEP PURPLE in 1991. Before that period, he was known best as the vocalist in Ritchie Blackmore's RAINBOW from 1981 until the band split in 1983, appearing on three albums — "Difficult To Cure", "Bent Out Of Shape" and "Straight Between The Eyes".
