JOE PERRY Performs In New York: Photos Available

May 10, 2005

AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry celebrated the release of his self-titled solo album with a performance at Webster Hall in New York City on Thursday (May 5). Check out pictures from Film Magic.

Perry recently told Launch Radio Networks that he had some ideas about a short tour in support of the album, but it just didn't work out. "I'd thought about doing that at first, but I, I think that it's gonna take up too much time, so I'm gonna give this a real good kick-off party, and with the help of the record company, we're gonna have some fun with that in New York, and then it's gonna be off on its own," he said.

AEROSMITH is nearing the end of their year-long break, so Perry will rejoin his mates for a lengthy tour starting in late September or early October. The band will also release a live album at that time.
