JOHN CORABI's Son Ready To Hit The Road With MUREAU

December 26, 2011

MUREAU, the Southern California "heavy/melodic/groove/djent" band featuring drummer Ian Corabi — the son of John Corabi, a powerhouse vocalist who fronted MÖTLEY CRÜE, UNION and THE SCREAM — will support SILENT CIVILIAN on a U.S. tour beginning on January 6 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In a post on his Facebook page, John writes, "Can't say it enough... I'm very proud of my son Ian and his entire band! Going on tour in January gang... Love ya'll (proud dad)."

In addition to Ian Corabi, MUREAU features vocalist Taylor Voeltz, who is best known for his work for bands like AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK, SUFFOKATE and BETRAYAL.

MUREAU's music video for the song "California" can be seen below. The clip was directed by Scott Hansen, who has previously worked on videos for ILL NIÑO, ANIMALS AS LEADERS, WILLIE NELSON, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and A DAY TO REMEMBER, among others.

MUREAU guitarist Lanny Perelman stated about the making of the "California" video, "We wanted to make a video that basically captured the vibe and purpose of MUREAU and the song. We love to party, have fun and most importantly, play heavy music. We were fortunate enough to work with Scott Hansen at an amazing location with an amazing group of friends and hot models! I think we achieved what we set out to do with the video and the song."

"California" comes off MUREAU's debut album, "Rumors And Reputations", which was released on November 8 through Mediaskare Records.

MUREAU is:

Taylor Voeltz - Vocals
Jonny Harter - Guitar
Lanny Perelman - Guitar
John Atkinson - Bass
Ian Corabi - Drums
