JOHN CORABI Still A Member Of RATT: Video Evidence Available
August 8, 2008Despite rumors to the contrary, John Corabi (former MÖTLEY CRÜE singer) appears to still be a member of RATT. According to a posting on the Hard Rock Hideout web site, Corabi performed with RATT Thursday night (August 7) at the Annie's Entertainment Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, playing rhythm guitar and singing back-up to Stephen Pearcy. "During the concert, he didn't look all that happy to be there, and didn't seem to share in the energy that the rest of the band had, but he was still there," reads a posting on the site.
Fan-filmed video footage of Corabi performing with RATT this past Wednesday night (August 6) in Columbus, Ohio can be viewed below.
It was reported last week by several Internet sources that John Corabi had quit his gig as the rhythm guitarist in RATT and was replaced by former QUIET RIOT guitarist Carlos Cavazo.
RATT celebrated the "Year Of The Ratt" with a very special West Coast U.S. run of dates in April. In honor of their Southern California roots, the band embarked on a four-show mini-tour to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "Ratt" EP.
RATT recently performed the entire EP along with other RATT faves live on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" to an overwhelming response. Host Bob Coburn expressed that he was "totally blown away" by RATT and that they "flat-out kicked ass" as they delivered one of the best shows in the 27 years of "Rockline".
RATT returned to stores with new DVD and CD releases on July 31, 2007: the first-ever DVD release from the band, "Ratt: Videos From The Cellar: The Atlantic Years", and the audio collection "Tell The World: The Very Best Of Ratt", which features the hard rockers at their studio and live performance peak and includes a previously unreleased track.
