JOHN SYKES: Z RECORDS Agreement Not A Done Deal

Despite previous reports to the contrary, legendary English guitar superstar John Sykes (TYGERS OF PAN TANG, THIN LIZZY, WHITESNAKE, BLUE MURDER, SYKES) has NOT yet signed a European deal with Z Records.

"Contrary to what has been reported on various web sites, I have not signed any contracts with Z Records," Sykes wrote on his official web site. "We are having discussions, but it is not a completed deal. We'll post news if something happens in this area. Thanks, John."

If signed, Sykes' deal with Z Records will reportedly include the European rights to John's four solo albums — "Out Of My Tree", "Loveland", "20th Century" and "Nuclear Cowboy" — none of which have previously been issued outside of Japan.
