JON OLIVA Auctioning Acoustic Guitar

SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva is auctioning off his red acoustic guitar which was used to write and record the JON OLIVA'S PAIN "'Tage Mahal" and "Maniacal Renderings" albums as well as the upcoming 2007 TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA release. This guitar has also traveled with JON OLIVA's PAIN on tour and was used at all the acoustic shows as well.

JON OLIVA'S PAIN's sophomore album, "Maniacal Renderings", entered the German national chart at position No. 86. The follow-up to 2004's "'Tage Mahal" was once again recorded at Audio Lab Studios in Tampa, Florida and is described in a press release as "a more progressive, complex and dramatic edge without sacrificing any of the songwriting quality that fans have come to expect during Oliva's 25-year career."

JON OLIVA'S PAIN has been confirmed as the headliner of next year's ProgPower Europe festival, set to take place October 7, 2007 in Baarlo, Holland. The band has also has been confirmed as the headliner of next year's ProgPower UK festival, which will take place March 31, 2007 in Chelltenham, England.
