JON OLIVA'S PAIN: First Tour Dates Announced

October 27, 2004

JON OLIVA'S PAIN, the new band led by SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva, have announced the first dates of their 2004/2005 world tour in support of Oliva's solo debut, entitled "'Tage Mahal".

The first show will take place in the group's hometown of Tampa, FL and will be followed by three dates in Greece. The band will perform two electric shows in both Athens and Thessaloniki, and will also stage a very special "once-in-a-lifetime all-acoustic show" in Athens.

Commented Oliva: "The Greek fans [have] clearly [been some] of the biggest supporters of my music over the last 20 years, I just wanted the chance to give something back to them for all their incredible dedication to me, SAVATAGE, and now my new project, PAIN. Performing an all-acoustic show for the Greek fans is going to be very special for me, and the band. I can't wait… Expect lots of surprises!"
