JON OLIVA'S PAIN: New Port Richey CD-Release Show Cancelled
February 27, 2010JON OLIVA'S PAIN's "Festival" CD-release concert, which was scheduled to take place Saturday, April 24 at Bourbon Street in New Port Richey, Florida prior to the group's appearance on the Triton Power Cruise (April 20-May 3),has been cancelled. The band states, "Bourbon Street is always the kick-off show to our tours, but with the cancellation of Wacken Brazil / South American tour and now the Triton Power Cruise we just can't justify the amount of time and money it takes for us to put on just one show. Between rehearsals costs for the band and crew, we would be losing big money just playing this one-off gig.
"We're sorry if this puts a wrench in anyone's plans. All of you know how much JON OLIVA'S PAIN loves the live arena. But in these hard economic times, it was a decision that had to be made. Greg at Bourbon Street understands completely and we will reschedule this show at the start of our next tour."
JON OLIVA'S PAIN's fourth album, "Festival", was released on February 19 via AFM Records.
The track listing for the CD is as follows:
01. Lies
02. Death Rides A Black Horse
03. Festival
04. Afterglow
05. Living On The Edge
06. Looking For Nothing
07. The Evil Within
08. Winter Haven
09. I Fear You
10. Now
