JON OLIVA'S PAIN To Play Select U.S. Cities In Early 2008

August 10, 2007

JON OLIVA'S PAIN, the band led by SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva, is the latest artist to join forces with Intromental Management's new North American booking agency. The band will embark on a select-city North American run in early 2008 with an eye towards a full tour in the fall.

Intromental's North American promotional director Glenn Harveston states, "I'm obviously thrilled to be working with one of my heroes. SAVATAGE may be on hiatus, but the Mountain King is alive and well. It's time to get him back out in front of the fans here in North America and continue his legacy."

Parties interested in promoting future shows or with potential booking/management opportunities can find further information at www.intromental.com.

JON OLIVA'S PAIN's last CD, "Maniacal Renderings", entered the German national chart at position No. 86 upon its release in September 2006. The follow-up to 2004's "'Tage Mahal" was once again recorded at Audio Lab Studios in Tampa, Florida and is described in a press release as "a more progressive, complex and dramatic edge without sacrificing any of the songwriting quality that fans have come to expect during Oliva's 25-year career."
