JUCIFER: 'The Mountain' Video Released

September 24, 2009

"The Mountain", the new video from Athens, Georgia's JUCIFER, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed by the band's own Edgar Livengood, starring his bandmate and wife Amber Valentine, and edited by Marc Pilvinsky of Bare Ruined Films. The video was lensed near Malibu, California and at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

"The Mountain" comes off JUCIFER's third album, "L'autrichienne", which was released in March 2008 via Relapse Records. The follow-up to "If Thine Enemy Hunger" is a 21-song effort based around the French Queen Marie Antoinette, who was executed by guillotine at the height of the French Revolution.

JUCIFER recorded "L'autrichienne" with former GLANDS bassist Andy Baker (MASERATI, MERCURY PROGRAM, MENDOZA LINE) at his Bakery studios.

JUCIFER is on the never-ending North American tour in support of "L'autrichienne", currently working its way across the Northern Plains and Midwest. JUCIFER has also been confirmed for the 2010 edition of the Maryland Deathfest.
