JUDAS PRIEST Interviewed On 'The Metal Scene'; Video Available

Jasmin St. Claire and Ron Estrada of "The Metal Scene" TV show (web site) conducted an interview with Rob Halford (vocals),Glenn Tipton (guitar),Ian Hill and K.K. Downing of the legendary British heavy metal band JUDAS PRIEST on August 30, 2008 at the San Manuel Amphitheatre (formerly Glen Helen Pavilion) in Devore, California (where the band was performing as part of the Metal Masters Tour with HEAVEN AND HELL, MOTÖRHEAD, and TESTAMENT). JUDAS PRIEST performed a free outdoor mini-concert Tuesday evening (September 2) on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in Hollywood, California, with two songs ("Prophecy" and "Breaking the Law") airing on that night's show.

The band's new double-disc concept album, "Nostradamus", has sold 89,000 copies in the United States since its June 17 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD shifted 42,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 11 on The Billboard 200 chart. This marks the band's highest-ever chart position in the U.S. In Canada, the CD opened at position No. 9 after shifting close to 4,000 units.
