JUDAS PRIEST, WHITESNAKE Preparing To Rock Sofia

According to Novinite.com, the Bulgarian capital Sofia is preparing for Friday's (July 8) massive Sofia Rocks festival featuring headliners JUDAS PRIEST along with special guests WHITESNAKE.

80 tons of steel have already be brought for the 40-by-20-meter stage that is being erected at the Balgarska Armiya (CSKA) Stadium in downtown Sofia.

Organizers Balkan Entertainment Company have announced that they have no limits set at the volume by local authorities and that audiences will be crushed by a 200 kW sound system and over 400 kW of light.

JUDAS PRIEST is reportedly utilizing five trucks to transport its massive laser show and has requested to be supplied with plenty of chili and tabasco, as well as "unlimited quantities of chocolate" as part of its backstage rider. Meanwhile, WHITESNAKE leader David Coverdale will be served mineral volcanic water and has asked for meals heavy in vegetables but no onions or broccoli.
