KALEDON: New Album Delayed
January 9, 2005Italian symphonic power metallers KALEDON have been forced to push back the projected release date of their new album, "The Way of the Light", by a couple of months from the previously announced January date. According to a posting on the group's web site, "there are some questions that must be resolved in advance."
As previously reported, the drum tracks for "The Way of the Light" were laid down in July at Alpha & Omega studios in Como, Italy by STRATOVARIUS' Jörg Michael (the band have since been rejoined by drummer David Folchitto). KALEDON entered Giuseppe Orlando's The Outer Sound Studios in October to complete work on the recordings, which will be released through SteelBorn Records. Lara Bertoli of IRON MAIDEN cover band ED HUNTER was recruited to sing on a track entitled "Come With Me".
