KALMAH Completes Recording New Album
December 22, 2007Finnish metallers KALMAH entered the studio on October 13 to begin recording their fifth full-length album. An early 2008 release is expected.
Commented guitarist Antti Kokko: "Everything is now recorded and we will start mixing at the beginning of 2008. I guess it will take one-two weeks to get all done. This album will be guitar-driven, raw-sounding, more riff-oriented but melodic, as KALMAH album always is. The band is very pleased with the result and I guess we are doing the best album so far. I know it is a cliché to say so, but I believe we are damn right about it!"

KALMAH's latest CD, "The Black Waltz", entered the Finnish national album chart in March 2006 at position No. 38. The follow-up to 2003's "Swampsong" marked the group's recording debut with keyboardist Marco Sneck (POISONBLACK).
