KAMELOT Continuing Work On Live DVD, Planning Live Appearances

April 28, 2006

American/Norwegian melodic metallers KAMELOT are continuing to work on their first DVD, "One Cold Winter's Night", which was shot in Oslo this past February. "There is a lot of editing for our director Patric [Ulleaus]. We have 18 cameras on this shoot and the concert was nearly 2 hours long," stated vocalist Khan. The disc will include special guest appearances by Simone Simons (EPICA),Sascha Paeth and Snowy Shaw (ex-KING DIAMOND, DREAM EVIL),plus many others.

KAMELOT will return to Holland for two shows this summer — Waldrock festival in Burgum, the Netherlands on July 1 and a headlining show at the Plato in Helmond (near Eindhoven). Many fans will be travelling from outside of Holland for this concert and the band plan a special meet-and-greet for this show.

In other news, KMI Entertainment and KAMELOT are working on the band's first trek to China. "We have been contacted by a few promoters in Hong Kong and we hope to arrange KAMELOT's unique live show," stated KMI's Tim Norwood.

Also on the KAMELOT-related front, the first-ever KAMELOT anthology, "Lunar Sanctum", will be released by Sanctuary Records. It will feature some classics as well as unreleased live cuts from the band's last concerts in Tokyo.

KAMELOT's latest CD, "The Black Halo", came out in March 2005 via SPV Records.
