KAMELOT Guitarist Issues Post-North American Tour Update

September 16, 2007

Guitarist Thomas Youngblood of the American/Norwegian melodic metallers KAMELOT has issued the following update:

"We are back for a short rest at home after an intense and incredible tour of North America. This was our third tour of the U.S. and Canada and we are already looking at dates in 2008 for a return. The fans in the U.S. and Canada were amazing, thanks for everything! Our friends LEAVES' EYES kicked ass every night despite a lot of adversity, the first few shows they used borrowed equipment due to KLM losing their luggage. Special thanks to Alex Krull for his role as Mephisto every night. We will plan some shows with them again in the near future!

"Back to Europe!! Yes, our frequent flyer miles are stacking this year. We return to London for the first time in years and our new friends THRESHOLD will be special guests on the night. We are told that the tickets are selling fast so get them before they sell out. After that we visit the Netherlands again for some special concerts, we have been cleared to use some pyros for the shows there! Then two new cities in France, Bordeaux and Lyon. After over one and half years we return to our friends in Spain, which always proves to be HOT HOT HOT! Then a long flight to Tokyo to party in the East with the metal maniacs in Japan, this trip will be one for the record books!! In fact we are video taping as much as possible for an upcoming DVD bonus, so put on your best metal faces if you see a camera in your face!!!"

KAMELOT and I-Code recently completed work on the video for the song "The Human Stain" from KAMELOT's newest CD "Ghost Opera". Watch the clip below.

KAMELOT's video for the song "Ghost Opera" is available online at YouTube. The track is the title cut off KAMELOT's new album, which was released in North America on June 5.

"Ghost Opera" is KAMELOT's third release for SPV/Steamhammer Records. The CD was recorded and mixed at Gate Studios and Pathway Studios in Wolfsburg, Germany with producers Sascha Paeth and Miro. Artwork was handled by Mattias Norén with contributions by Alexandra V. Bach, Liliana Sanchez and Derek Gores.
