KAMELOT Kicks Off European Tour: Photos, Video Footage Available

March 21, 2009

American/Norwegian melodic metallers KAMELOT kicked off their European tour last night (Friday, March 20) at 013 in Tilburg, Netherlands. Joining KAMELOT on stage to perform the song "The Haunting" was EPICA singer Simone Simons. Simone — the longtime girlfriend of KAMELOT keyboardist Oliver Palotai — also appears on the studio version of "The Haunting", which was included on KAMELOT's 2005 album "The Black Halo".

Support at the Tilburg show came from Dutch gothic rock band DELAIN and SERENITY.

A number of high-quality photos from the concert can be found at Metal-Experience.com.

Fan-filmed video footage can be viewed below.

After last night's sold-out Tilburg show, KAMELOT announced its return to 013 on March 27, 2010 in support of its next CD release, due early next year. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 27 through Ticketmaster.nl.

KAMELOT members Thomas Youngblood (guitar) and Roy Khan (vocals) last month completed the first of four writing sessions for the band's next full-length album in Sørskogbygda, Norway.
