May 6, 2008

American/Norwegian melodic metallers KAMELOT have issued the following update:

"Well, the European tour has come to an end and we are reflecting on all the incredible nights with you all. The finale [on May 3] in Oslo could not have been a better way to cap off five weeks of amazing concerts. In the packed SOLD-OUT Sentrum Scene in Oslo we were greeted with the loudest fans Oslo has seen in years. One of the highlights of this show was the duet of [KAMELOT's Norwegian singer] Roy and his grandfather Kre (accordion),playing the song 'Danse mi vise'. The crowd of nearly 2,000 were on their feet all night long!"

Fan-filmed video footage of KAMELOT singer Roy Khan and his 85-year-old grandfather Kre performing "Danse mi vise, grte min sang" on May 3, 2008 at Sentrum Scene in Oslo, Norway can be viewed below.

"Ghost Opera - The Second Coming", the reissue of KAMELOT's "Ghost Opera" album enhanced with lots of interesting features, has entered the Greek chart at position No. 38. The double-CD limited-edition slipcase design includes the CD featuring all the songs from the regular album, plus ten additional live tracks recorded live in Belgrade Serbia during the band's 2007 world tour, the bonus tracks "Seasons End", "Pendulous Fall", "Epilogue" and the remix of "Rule The World". The two videos for "Human Stain" and "Memento Mori" (live) are included, and on top of that, the package features new artwork and a comprehensive booklet.
