June 5, 2008

Hot off their hugely successful European headlining tour which took took place in April/May, American/Norwegian melodic metallers KAMELOT have been invited to perform with British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN on August 16 in Assen, Netherlands at the massive TT Circuit location.

Guitarist Thomas Youngblood comments: "We are very excited to be added to this special MAIDEN show in The Netherlands. We've played some festivals with MAIDEN, but this show will be even more special. We have been huge MAIDEN fans from the begining! We are also pumped about returning to The Netherlands, one of our favorite places to tour and the fans are amazing!"

KAMELOT recently played a sold-out headlining show in Amsterdam's famed venue The Paradiso.

"Ghost Opera - The Second Coming", the reissue of KAMELOT's "Ghost Opera" album enhanced with lots of interesting features, recently entered the Greek chart at position No. 38. The double-CD limited-edition slipcase design includes the CD featuring all the songs from the regular album, plus ten additional live tracks recorded live in Belgrade Serbia during the band's 2007 world tour, the bonus tracks "Seasons End", "Pendulous Fall", "Epilogue" and the remix of "Rule The World". The two videos for "Human Stain" and "Memento Mori" (live) are included, and on top of that, the package features new artwork and a comprehensive booklet.
