KARMA TO BURN Split Up, Bassist Joins SPEEDEALER
April 5, 2002Acclaimed West Virginia instrumental heavy rockers KARMA TO BURN have split up, according to www.stonerrock.com. Bassist Rich Mullinses has reportedly joined Texas aggro-rockers SPEEDEALER, while guitarist Will Mecums and drummer Rob Oswalds are said to be planning a new project, the details of which have not yet been divulged.
At the time of their split, KARMA TO BURN were writing material for an entirely non-instrumental CD which was set to include appearances by ex-FEAR FACTORY singer Burton C. Bell, C.O.C.'s Pepper Keenan, SPEEDEALER's Jeff Hirshberg and CLUTCH's Neil Fallon, among others. A European tour, which was scheduled to begin on April 30th in Belgium, has now presumably been cancelled.
