KATAKLYSM: Drummer MAX DUHAMEL Rejoins The Fold; DANZIG Dates Announced

Canadian death metallers KATAKLYSM have parted ways with drummer Martin Maurais due to "personal and professional reasons." Replacing Maurais in the group's lineup is returning skinsman Max Duhamel, who performed on five KATAKLYSM albums, the latest being the critically acclaimed 2002 offering, "Shadows & Dust".

"Max is in full form, focused and sounds outstanding. We're really happy to
have him back in the band permanently," commented bassist Stephane Barbe.

In other news, KATAKLYSM have secured the direct support slot on the upcoming DANZIG North American tour beginning on February 18. Also appearing on the bill are TRIVIUM and EYES OF FIRE. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:
