KATAKLYSM's MAURIZIO IACONO: "New Album Is My Favorite"

June 30, 2002

Canadian death metallers KATAKLYSM have finished recording their brand new album, entitled Shadows & Dust, for a November 4th release through Nuclear Blast Records. According to singer Maurizio Iacono, "Shadows & Dust is without a doubt the most impressive KATAKLYSM release we've done. [Producer/guitarist Jean-Francois Dagenais] has done and incredible job on the production side... you guys will not believe the sound, it crushes all!!! Max's performance is godly, my voice never sounded as complete and as full as on this album, musically its devastating.. I'm very proud of everyone in the band, we've delivered the goods, now it's up to you guys to be the real judges, one thing is for sure this is my favorite album!"
