KATATONIA: 'The Black Sessions' Box Set Update

February 21, 2005

Sweden's KATATONIA have just released a limited-edition compilation, entitled "The Black Sessions", through Peaceville Records. The three-disc collection includes all the singles b-sides, cover songs and select songs released between 1998 and 2004 ("Discouraged Ones" all the way to "Viva Emptiness"),plus a live DVD featuring a KATATONIA live show filmed in Krakow, Poland in April 2003. An update from the band regarding the set's packaging follows:

"The poster that was previously announced to be included in 'The Black Sessions' box set has been confirmed withdrawn from the packaging. Don't think there is anything wrong with your copy, as all boxes have the poster excluded and are the same. All 15,000 copies (limited edition) have been pre-ordered and there will be a very limited amount of time to buy yours from the stores. Snapper has kept a few hundred copies back for online ordering, but these will most likely go fast. This offer is only available while stocks last. If you want to take advantage of this offer to buy one for £17.99 plus post, please click here."
