February 1, 2007Norwegian black metallers KEEP OF KALESSIN have cancelled their previously announced appearance at Germany's Summer Breeze festival (set to take place August 16-18, 2007 in Dinkelsbühl) due to circumstances beyond their control, according to a posting on the group's official web site.
KEEP OF KALESSIN will team up with MARDUK, ENSLAVED, MELECHESH, GOATWHORE and PANTHEON I for The Excess of Evil European tour beginning in early May.
A video clip of KEEP OF KALESSIN performing the song "Come Damnation" on September 26, 2006 in Paris, France has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).
KEEP OF KALESSIN features in its ranks Obsidian C. (a.k.a. Arnt Grønbech). The band performed a one-time, unique show with the duo MONOLITHIC on September 1 at the Trondheim Jazzfestival. The performance was previously described as "a concert where extreme metal meets jazz at an insanely high tempo."
KEEP OF KALESSIN's latest album, "Armada", entered the Norwegian national album chart at position No. 20 upon its release last year.
