KEEP OF KALESSIN: 'Into The Fire' Video Airs On Norwegian TV Without Band's Consent

August 16, 2006

Norwegian black metallers KEEP OF KALESSIN, featuring Obsidian C. (a.k.a. Arnt Grønbech, also a touring guitarist for SATYRICON) on guitars/bass/synth, have issued the following update:

"It has come to KEEP OF KALESSIN's attention that the video for 'Into the Fire' has been airing on Norwegian TV channels NRK and ZTV. Both the label and the band earier agreed that this video is of such poor quality that it should not be released, but still these channels got hold of the video. Tabu Recordings has promised to pull this video back and get it off the network.

"Once again, this video is not approved by the band and the members hadn't even seen it before it was aired on TV."

Commented Obsidian C.: "The CGI is way beyond shitty, clipping is extremely bad and it's totally out of sync! This is nowhere near the quality this band wants for a music video! I think the director has totally failed to deliver on his promises."

KEEP OF KALESSIN's latest album, "Armada", entered the Norwegian national album chart at position No. 20 upon its release earlier in the year. The CD is the group's first with vocalist Thebon, who made his live debut with the band during their live shows in 2005, including the Eastern European tour with EXODUS and HYPOCRISY in December.
