KEEP OF KALESSIN To Support ENSLAVED In Europe In October

September 10, 2007

Having spent most of the last few months hurling their fury on diverse festival stages, KEEP OF KALESSIN are currently entering the studio to record the follow up to highly acclaimed album, "Armada". Hooking up with veteran Viking metallers ENSLAVED, the rising stars of Norway's extreme metal, KEEP OF KALESSIN will be performing live and unleashed at a stage near you in October. Be the lucky ones that get to hear selected material from the new album first on this European tour!

The dates are as follows:

Oct. 16 - Paris - Locomotive (FR)
Oct. 17 - Lyon - Marché Gare (FR)
Oct. 18 - Belfort - Poudrière (FR)
Oct. 19 - Niort - Camji (FR)
Oct. 20 - Rennes - Ubu (FR)
Oct. 21 - London - Mean Fiddler (UK)
Oct. 23 - Mezz, Breda (NL)
Oct. 24 - Biebob, Vosselaar (B)
Oct. 25 - Doornroosje, Nijmegen (NL)
Oct. 26 - Munich - Backstage (DE) (w/ SECRETS OF THE MOON)
Oct. 27 - Saarbrücken - Roxy (DE)

KEEP OF KALESSIN's video for the song "Crown of the Kings" can be viewed below. The clip, which was shot by Christian Falch of GammaGlimt, consists of footage from over 30 shows throughout Europe in 2006. A new video for "Winged Watcher" was also filmed during the last week of May. This clip was shot in the unique environment at the wastelands of Røros, known from UNESSO's World Heritage List.

KEEP OF KALESSIN's "Excess of Evil" European tour — which was also scheduled to feature MARDUK, ENSLAVED, GOATWHORE, MELECHESH and PANTHEON I — was cancelled earlier in the year.

KEEP OF KALESSIN performed a one-time, unique show with the duo MONOLITHIC on September 1, 2006 at the Trondheim Jazzfestival. The performance was previously described as "a concert where extreme metal meets jazz at an insanely high tempo."

KEEP OF KALESSIN's latest album, "Armada", entered the Norwegian national album chart at position No. 20 upon its release last year.
