KELLY OSBOURNE Infuriates Animal Rights Activists Over Pink Dog

April 27, 2005

Ireland Online is reporting that animal rights activists have blasted Kelly Osbourne for coloring her pet dog's fur bright pink.

The daughter of Ozzy Osbourne has incurred the wrath of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) members, who insist lathering her bulldog Piglet's coat in human hair dye poses a threat to the furry pooch's health.

And PETA are urging Osbourne to treat her dog like a pet, not a fashion accessory.

PETA's Michael McGraw told the New York Post's Page Six: "It is very irresponsible to subject a 13-week-old puppy to chemicals that most people aren't willing to put on their heads."
