KERRY KING Signature Guitar Sweepstakes Announced

July 7, 2009

EMG is hosting a sweepstakes where one lucky winner will receive an autographed Kerry King signature model B.C. Rich Flying V along with a SLAYER early catalog reissue vinyl set from Metal Blade Records. Five second-prize winners will receive an EMG KFK signature set, and 20 third-prize winners will receive a SLAYER or EMG logo t-shirt.

The sign-up page and official rules for this sweepstakes is available at emgpickups.com/promos/kfk.

SLAYER's ninth studio album, "World Painted Blood", is scheduled for release late summer American Recordings/Columbia Records.

Some dozen new songs comprise "World Painted Blood", which was recorded in Los Angeles over two time periods, during October 2008 and then between late January and March 2009. "World Painted Blood" was produced by Greg Fidelman, who's spent time in the studio with METALLICA, THE GOSSIP, THE (INTERNATIONAL) NOISE CONSPIRACY, SLIPKNOT and others, and executive produced by longtime SLAYER colleague, Rick Rubin, who suggested Fidelman for the project.
