KICKING K8 To Enter Studio This Weekend

December 8, 2004

San Diego's KICKING K8, featuring former DIAMOND REXX drummer Billy Nychay, will enter Signature Sound studios with producer Joe Marlett (KORN, SWITCHFOOT, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, FOO FIGHTERS, BLINK 182) to record their forthcoming CD. Tracking for the album will begin on December 11 and will feature a special remake of THE BEATLES song "Come Together". An early 2005 release through an as-yet-undetermined label is expected.

The band, whose lineup is rounded out by guitarist Mark Evans, bassist Johhny Fingers and vocalist Frank Valente, have begun lining up numerous dates around the West Coast to debut the new music sometime in January 2005, with a full tour to follow in March 2005.
