KID ROCK Gives PAMELA The Rock

April 13, 2002

The following item comes to us courtesy of Billboard magazine:

Pamela Anderson can't seem to get enough of rockers — the former Mrs. Tommy Lee is now engaged to bad-boy musician Kid Rock. The 34-year-old actress, star of the campy hit V.I.P., said "yes" when boyfriend Kid Rock (real name: Bob Ritchie) proposed [on April 11th] outdoors in the Las Vegas desert, her publicist said. No wedding date was set.

The 31-year-old rap-rock rebel gave her a ring but there were no details, the publicist said. The couple began dating in April 2001, when they met backstage at VH1's diva salute to Aretha Franklin at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
