November 17, 2006

New England metallers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will play a "secret" show this Monday, November 20 at the Key Club in West Hollywood, California. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

As previously reported, MTV2 has officially added KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's new video, "My Curse", to regular rotation. The song is the first single from "As Daylight Dies", due on November 21 via Roadrunner. "As Daylight Dies" is the follow up to 2004's Grammy-nominated album "The End of Heartache", which is nearly certified gold and 2005's gold-selling DVD "(Set This) World Ablaze".

"My Curse", directed by Lex Halaby (MUDVAYNE, HOOBASTANK),premiered on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" on November 4. A special "MTV2 Makes the Video" will air on the network on November 25, the same day the band's Adam Dutkiewicz (guitar) and Howard Jones (vocals) will be interviewed on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball".

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE is in the middle of a headlining tour of North America, with ALL THAT REMAINS and HATEBREED splitting the direct support slot, while BURY YOUR DEAD and 2 CENTS are opening. This is the first U.S. tour for KSE since the 2005 Ozzfest tour on which they were one of the second stage headliners and before that, the inaugural Taste of Chaos tour with MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and THE USED, in February/March of that year.
