KILLTRIBE Signs With BIG DEAL RECORDS

October 20, 2009

German metallers KILLTRIBE have inked a deal with Big Deal Records. The band's first EP, "I Am Human", is scheduled for release on November 2. It will be made available as a digipack through www.killtribe.de and will be pre-released digitally via iTunes, Amazon and all other online stores starting October 23.

"They have come to show you killing!" This is the message that this five-piece is bringing across. Derived from bands like 10-FOLD B-LOW (who toured Europe with OVERKILL and played Istanbul, Turkey with SLAYER and others),John Lennon Talent Awards finalists UNBLEST and others, this live monster will redefine today's metal. Forget copy-paste-core, forget flashy t-shirts — this band is its own brand.

The two-fisted mix of riff-oriented songwriting with complex structure, a little bit of melody and pure hatred competently combine brute force with a keenness for details. Technically impressive and with a ton of heart and soul, KILLTRIBE interweaves its style elements into something completely unique. Despite all brutality, the band impresses with a razor-sharp sense for truly memorable songwriting.

Two songs — "FE4R" and "Shine" — can be downloaded in high quality for free at this location (ZIP file).
