KING'S X Frontman To Issue Solo Album In July; Cover Art Revealed

April 26, 2005

KING'S X frontman Doug Pinnick's third solo album, "Emotional Animal", will be relased on July 19 via Magna Carta Records. While Pinnick's previous solo outings were credited to POUNDHOUND, this will be the first to feature solely Pinnick's name (or a slight variation thereof: DUG PINNICK). He described the album to as mostly rock-based but with a few surprises, including the gospel-tinged "Equal Rights", as well as a dance track, "When You Gonna Come". Check out the cover art at this location.

KING'S X's recently completed studio album is currently being shopped to interested labels. No release date has yet been announced for the effort, which was produced by veteran metal producer Michael Wagener (SKID ROW, WARRANT, ACCEPT, HAMMERFALL). Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Bam", "Where Do You Go", "Honesty", "Open My Eyes", "Mud", "Sooner or Later", "Freedom", "Fly", "Alison", "If", "Be Bop", "Alone" and "Stay".
