KING'S X Opens Vaults To MOLKEN MUSIC

November 16, 2006

In response to requests of their loyal worldwide following, legendary Texas trio KING'S X has teamed up with Wally Farkas' Molken Music to release a series of never-before-heard recordings. These CDs are available direct to the consumer for the first time — Internet-only — and exclusively from Molken Music.

Commencing with vocalist/bassist Doug Pinnick, Molken Music announces the release of "Songs from the Closet (The Doug Pinnick Demos Vol. 1)", containing Doug's original, full-blown multitrack demo recordings for twelve KING'S X classics (such as "We Were Born To Be Loved", as heard frequently by Paul Shaffer's band on "Late Show with David Letterman"). "Songs from the Closet" also features two previously unreleased songs as well as a complete, track-by-track audio commentary.

December 2006 will also see the release of KING'S X guitarist/vocalist Ty Tabor's "Tacklebox (The Ty Tabor Demos Vol. 1 & 2)", a two-disc anthology, also with audio commentary. "Tacklebox" contains 30 songs in all, including two previously unreleased songs as well as original multitrack demos for KING'S X classics such as "It's Love", "Dogman", "Black Flag", and "Summerland". Also featured is the legendary, original version of "Pleiades", the song that gave birth to the KING'S X sound.

Scheduled releases for 2007 through Molken Music include blistering live sets from KING'S X, two additional volumes of Doug's demos, instructional videos from Doug, Ty, and drummer Jerry Gaskill, XENUPHOBE's "2.0: Electrolux", and much more. XENUPHOBE is the instrumental, psychoactive collaboration between Ty Tabor and guitarist Wally Farkas (GALACTIC COWBOYS).

KING'S X, currently on tour with SKID ROW, will soon begin recording the follow up to "Ogre Tones" (Inside Out Music, 2005). The band will work again with legendary producer Michael Wagener (OZZY OSBOURNE, METALLICA) for a 2007 worldwide release on Inside Out Music.

Molken Music is owned and operated in Texas by Wally Farkas and can be found on the worldwide web at www.molkenmusic.com.
