KINLIN's self-titled debut album was released in March. Recorded and mixed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by guitarist/vocalist Dewayne Hart, the CD was described in a press release as "in-your-face hard rock that combines influences of the four members' totally different music styles." The group's lineup is rounded out by guitarist Tom Lynch and bassist Dave Thomas.

Johansson toured with W.A.S.P. earlier in the year as the band's session drummer.
