KISS: A Hillbilly Tribute By HAYSEED DIXIE

January 14, 2003

Hillbilly humorists HAYSEED DIXIE, a group that achieved infamy with 2001's "A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC", which featured backwater send-ups of "Highway to Hell", "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", are at it again. KISS are the target of HAYSEED's latest homage, "Kiss My Grass: A Hillbilly Tribute to Kiss", which features the following track listing:

01. Calling Dr. Love
02. Rock & Roll All Nite
03. Detroit Rock City
04. Cold Gin
05. Let's Put the X in Sex
06. Love Gun
07. Lick It Up
09. I Love It Loud
10. Christine Sixteen
11. Heaven's On Fire

A live version of "Calling Dr. Love" is available for download from this location.

A tour to support the LP kicks off Feb. 18 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
