KISS Coffeehouse Update
June 12, 2006The first-ever official KISS Coffeehouse is to open on Tuesday, June 27 at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The grand opening will be attended by KISS members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, who are scheduled to cut the ribbon. The coffeehouse is really starting to look like the original sketch now, with most of the KISS signs (logo, Gene's boot, etc.) scheduled to be up by the end of this week. The entire coffeehouse should be ready by next week, so it might open up already before the official opening on June 27. Apart from coffee, there will be KISS memorabilia displays, KISS outfits, confetti cannon speakers, fog machines and (of course) KISS Coffeehouse merchandise. Tribute band KISS ARMY will be performing live during the grand opening, along with the Quebec High School students from the recently released "Christine Sixteen - A High School Tribute To KISS" album. In conjunction with the opening of the coffeehouse, KISS plans to ship 1,000 bags of KISS Army Blend coffee to the U.S. Armed Forces in Iraq.
