KISS Guitarist TOMMY THAYER Interviewed At NAMM (Video)

David "Gus" Griesinger of BackstageAxxess.com conducted an interview with KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California as part of the 2011 NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 13-16. KISS will perform at Hard Rock Live at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on March 17. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 28 at noon.

KISS has been rocking out arenas for the last four decades and has become one of the most renowned rock bands in the history of music, with popular songs like "Rock And Roll All Nite" and "Calling Dr. Love". They have sold over 100 million albums worldwide and have continued their incredible success with the release of their latest album, "Sonic Boom", in 2009.

"Sonic Boom" sold 108,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 2 on The Billboard 200 chart. This marked the band's highest-charting LP ever.

"Sonic Boom" was released in Europe on October 5, 2009 via Loud & Proud/Roadrunner Records. The CD was made available in the U.S. and Canada on October 6, 2009 exclusively via Wal-Mart, Walmart.com and Sam's Club retail locations.
