KISS: Official Magazine No. 5 Detailed

According to a posting on the official KISS web site, KissOnline.com, issue No. 5 of the official KISS magazine "is shaping up to be the best one yet! The issue is packed full of great articles including outtakes from the 'Rock the Nation' DVD with Eric Singer, a photo journal of a day on the road with Tommy Thayer, the history of KISS guitar picks, the history of KISS comic books, and one on KISS tribute bands! Other highlights include interviews with Ron Johnson and Bob Kulick. Johnson, the producer of the WICKED LESTER album, takes us through the album, track by track. There's also a segment on sports stars that are also KISS fans. The magazine is off to the printers on [May] 10th and should start shipping around [May] 20th. Subscribers will receive the issue first and then the magazine will start hitting the newsstands towards the end of May."

In other news, the U.K. Kiss Expo at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, England will take place on Saturday, July 22, 2006. Doors Open at 4:00 p.m. for this 10-hour rock extravaganza featuring a performance by Europe's No. 1 KISS tribute show, HOTTER THAN HELL! Other attractions include guest speakers and forums, rare vintage film footage as well as memorabilia and merchandise stalls.

Also on the KISS-related front, the web site for the KISS Coffeehouse — which is scheduled to open this summer at Broadway at the Beach, in Myrtle Beach, SC — is now up and running. Stop by and you can check out the coffeehouse menu as well as the actual building design plans for all stages of the project. New photos will include the KISS boots which are being completed now. When finished, the boots will adorn the outside of the coffeehouse.
