Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter reported last month that KISS is strongly rumored to be planning a headlining concert May 30 at Stockholm Stadion, an outdoor 30,000-seater arena. Although Swedish promoter EMA Telstar has reportedly reserved the date as an option for KISS to play at the Stadion, the show has **NOT** been confirmed as yet, however, and should be treated as a rumor only.
As previously reported, KISS will play Wellington's Westpac Stadium in New Zealand in March as part of a giant two-day rock festival.
KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley was forced to pull out of the band's July 27, 2007 show in San Jacinto, California, about 90 miles (145 km) east of Los Angeles when his heart started beating at more than twice the normal level.
Stanley wrote on his web site that he was advised performing would be risky, and the show went on without him. Fellow principal Gene Simmons told fans the group would play as a trio, and turned the show into a tribute to his ailing bandmate.
