KIVIMETSN DRUIDI Signs With CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS

Century Media Records has announced the signing of the Finnish symphonic fantasy/folk metal band KIVIMETSN DRUIDI to a worldwide deal.

KIVIMETSN DRUIDI, who played a massive European tour supporting fellow Finnish folk metallers KORPIKLAANI last October and November, has entered Noice Camp studio in Turku to begin recording its debut album, tentatively due in October.

Commented the band in a statement: "KIVIMETSN DRUIDI members are extremely pleased with the deal with Century Media Records whose impressive catalogue speaks for itself. It is great to be a part of the Century Media family with such awesome bands like TURISAS, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, LACUNA COIL and ARCH ENEMY."

During the summer, KIVIMETSN DRUIDI will play only a handful of festival gigs as the band will be busy recording its forthcoming album. An extensive tour will follow the CD's release.

Formed in 2002 in Kouvola, Finland by brothers Joni (growls, guitar) and Antti Koskinen (keyboards, backing vocals),KIVIMETSN DRUIDI has so far recorded three demos: "Kristallivuoren Maa" (2002),"Taival" (2004) and "The New Chapter" (2007) and one EP called "Mustan Valtikan Aika" (2006).
