KORN: Animated 'Liar' Video Available

August 18, 2006

KORN's animated video for "Liar", taken from the band's latest CD, "See You on the Other Side", has been posted online at YouTube.com. The clip was produced by the San Fransico-based company Big Bear Entertainment, which also has great animated videos from the likes of DISTURBED, BILLY IDOL and TOMMY LEE in its video catalog.

"It's basically a riff on the cover art of 'See You on the Other Side' — just wanted to keep it in the same spirit," creator Tony Shiff said.

"It doesn't take long if you have the right tools to do this style of video. I started doing them on a series for MTV2 called 'Video Mods'.

"We started making the video as part of a series on Yahoo! Music called 'Artist Mods', but Yahoo! lost their sponsor while we were doing the animation, so it didn't make it on the web site."

KORN released a collection called "Live and Rare" on May 9. The set features 13 cuts, including recordings of PINK FLOYD's "Another Brick in the Wall" and METALLICA's "One".

KORN's seventh album, "See You on the Other Side", has sold 1.02 million copies in the United States since coming out in December, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
