KORN/DARK NEW DAY Guitarist CLINT LOWERY Releases New Music

July 23, 2007

DARK NEW DAY guitarist Clint Lowery has found time in between his touring duties with KORN to post a new song called "Kicking Tree" at his MySpace page. The track is a collaboration between Lowery, his brother and bandmate Corey and SEVENDUST drummer Morgan Rose.

Clint Lowery was arrested on July 5 at the Hodokvas Festival in Piestany, Slovakia after a "wild, drunken night" at the event, which ended with the guitarist trashing his room. Lowery was released the following afternoon from police custody after apologizing and paying for the damages.

Lowery is the second replacement for original KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, who left the band two years ago to devote his life to Christianity.

Lowery made his debut with KORN on March 1, 2007 when the band made its first appearance ever on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno".

Lowery's band DARK NEW DAY released its debut album, "Twelve Year Silence", in June of 2005. The disc featured the single "Brother".
