KORN Perform At MTV ASIA AWARDS 2006: Video Available

May 24, 2006

A video clip of KORN's performance of their hit single "Twisted Transistor" at the MTV Asia Awards 2006 on May 6 at the Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand has been posted online at this location. KORN were also honored with the "Favorite Video" trophy for the hilarious "Twisted Transistor" clip off their seventh studio album, "See You on the Other Side". The band kicked off the night with a blazing performance of the track in front of the 4,600-capacity crowd. Other bands that were nominated in the "Favorite Video" category included GREEN DAY, KANYE WEST, FRANZ FERDINAND and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE.

KORN's upcoming DVD, "Live On The Other Side", will receive a big screen premiere on June 19 at more than 100 theatres in 70 markets nationwide. Singer Jonathan Davis said that the disc features the band's November 2005 performance in New York City that launched their "See You On The Other Side" album. "That's basically us playing at the Hammerstein Ballroom when we did, you know, when the album came out," he said. "It was our launch event. We flew a plane over from London with a bunch of winners from MTV and kids from every country over there, and we did this cool show. You know, there's all kinds of stuff. There's interviews with us, they're gonna have us playing on the plane, the live show, there's all kinds of extras. So it's a really cool DVD."

Along with interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and music videos, the disc will feature excerpts from a private show the band played for contest winners and U.S. soldiers on a plane headed to New York from Europe.

The DVD will be in stores on June 20.

KORN will headline the Family Values tour this summer, which begins on July 27 in Virginia Beach. The main stage lineup also features DEFTONES, STONE SOUR, FLYLEAF and DIR EN GREY.

Jonathan Davis made an appearance at a McDonald's across the street from Wrigley Field in Chicago Thursday, May 18 to give away tickets, merchandise and even cash to promote Family Values.
