KRALLICE Completes Work On Debut Album

April 28, 2008

New York's KRALLICE, the black metal outfit masterminded by dynamic guitar genius Mick Barr (OCRILIM, ORTHRELM etc.) and technical music wizard Colin Marston (BEHOLD THE ARCTOPUS, DYSRHYTHMIA, BYLA, etc.),has completed work on its self-titled debut album, to be released late July via Profound Lore Records.

In what will become one of the most cursed releases in the realm of black metal this year, the vision conjured up by Barr and Marston is an overwhelming amalgam of epic time-stretching visceral black metal that recalls the spirit brought forth with such acts as BURZUM (first three albums),WEAKLING, GORGOROTH (particularly the "Antichrist" album),ULVER (specifically "Nattens Madrigal"),with, of course, the musical wizardry that Barr and Marston are known to portray with their prolific repertoire as it's known throughout the many circles of progressive and experimental music in which said musicians constantly dwell.

Although KRALLICE does present a new voice for Barr and Marston (especially seeing that they pretty much dabble within instrumental music),KRALLICE not only adds to its prolific repertoire, but also strengthens it. With its layered, tremolo weaving, hypnotic and twisted guitar (dis)harmonics, vicious use of melody, elongated time-structures and Barr's unique cavermous harsh wails, the debut KRALLICE album is a massive and surging work of demented unforgiving black metal art.

Track listing for the debut KRALLICE album:

01. Wretched Wisdom
02. Cnestorial
03. Molec Codicies
04. Timehusk
05. Energy Chasms
06. Forgiveness In Rot
