January 29, 2011

Loud TV conducted an interview with DEATH ANGEL's Mark Osegueda (vocals) and KREATOR's Mille Petrozza (guitar, vocals) at the December 13, 2010 stop of the Thrashfest tour at Elysée Montmartre in Paris, France. You can now watch the chat below.

A number of high-quality photos from the November 28, 2010 stop of the Thrashfest 2010 tour at Trix in Antwerp, Belgium can be found at Metal-Experience.com.

DEATH ANGEL's latest album, "Relentless Retribution", sold 2,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 10 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. The band's previous album, "Killing Season", opened with around 2,300 units back in March 2008. This number was in line with the performance of its predecessor, "The Art of Dying", which registered a first-week sales tally of around 2,100 back in May 2004.

On August 10, 2010, KREATOR re-released its latest studio album, "Hordes Of Chaos", in North America as a high-quality box set via SPV/Steamhammer. Entitled "Hordes Of Chaos - Ultra Riot", the box set includes the "Hordes Of Chaos" album as a digipak with a new cover, a new booklet (including new liner notes by Joel McIver) and two enhanced videos. The bonus CD comes in a cardboard sleeve and contains two cover versions (of songs by the German band SLIME and BAD RELIGION) and five previously unreleased demo songs. On top of that, the box set contains a high-quality, 12-page photobook by famous photographer Harald Hoffmann, a full-color poster of the album cover, a full-color photocard, a full-color sticker and a voucher for the KREATOR merchandise shop at www.kreator-terrorzone.de. All this comes for a very reasonable price.
