KREATOR's Concert In Malaysia Expected To Be A Sell-Out

September 13, 2005

According to The Star Online, KREATOR's Sept. 25 performance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is tipped to be a sell-out event considering long-starved extreme metal fans in Malaysia have not had an international gig of this scale in a long while (think NAPALM DEATH in 2001). Opening the show will be guitarist Man Kidal, who replaced thrash metal outfit CROMOK on the bill after the latter group opted out of the concert for reasons that have not been disclosed. The LEFTHANDED guitarist will lead a five-piece outfit for the show, and he is promising a no-holds-barred performance — a set far more extreme than his hard rock undertakings of norm.

"I started playing heavy metal during the early 1980s with LEFTHANDED. We played covers including OZZY, RISING FORCE and BLACK SABBATH. So heavy metal is not alien to me," said Man Kidal in a press statement, clearly showing his readiness to storm the KREATOR concert.
