KRIGSHOT Putting Finishing Touches On New 12-Inch EP

January 19, 2006

KRIGSHOT, the Swedish band consisting of members of the now-defunct grindcore legends NASUM, are putting the finishing touches on a new 12" EP. "Poffen [TOTALITÄR] and Björn [DISFEAR] are heading towards Örebro to record their parts," drummer Anders Jakobson (ex-NASUM) writes on Nasum.com. "Word from Poffen is that all lyrics have been matched up with the songs so hopefully things will go smoothly in the studio. We will then try to finish the mix and artwork as soon as possible because the record label is swinging the whip since this 12" is their next release. Sounds good — chances are that the 12" actually comes out sooner than anything I've recorded before! We will also shoot the first official KRIGSHOT photos ever on Saturday. My friend Robert who shot the last three rounds of NASUM promo photos and also did the collage in the 'Shift' cover will bring his camera and magic, I guess. Also the first KRIGSHOT show is booked. I can't speak about it yet but I guess Swedish crust punks can figure it out since it's at the festival they most often visit..."
