KROKUS Bassist Checks In From Recording Studio
March 28, 2006Bassist Tony Castell of the long-running Swiss hard rockers KROKUS has posted an update on the recording sessions for the band's new album, which is being tracked at a studio in Winterbach/Karlsruhe, Germany with producer Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69). KROKUS recently announced the addition of German drummer Stefan Schwarzmann (ex-ACCEPT, U.D.O., HELLOWEEN) to the group's ranks. The band's follow-up to 2003's "Rock the Block" is tentatively due this summer. KROKUS's current lineup includes Castell, frontman Marc Storace, Mandy Meyer (guitar) and Dominique Fave (guitar).
As previously reported, KROKUS will be teaming up with AXXIS for a German co-headlining tour beginning in early May. Confirmed tour dates are as follows:
