KROKUS Deny Split Rumors
February 29, 2004Veteran Swiss hard rockers KROKUS have issued a statement via their official web site refuting rumors that they have either split up or undergone drastic lineup changes. "The band is right now touring through Germany still with the same line-up," they write. "Marc [Storace, vocals] and Fern [a.k.a. Fernando von Arb, guitar] are rockin' together and all these split rumors are definitely not to be taken serious!"
As previously reported, KROKUS' most recent studio album, "Rock the Block", is scheduled to receive its long-overdue U.S. release on June 1 through Reality Entertainment. A U.S. "comeback" tour is expected to follow in August.
"Rock The Block", debuted at No. 1 on the Swiss Album chart upon its release in January 2003 and has since achieved platinum status in the band's home country.
The CD, which was recorded at Soundlake Studio in Lausanne, Switzerland, is the group's first since being rejoined by Storace and von Arb.
